In 2024, I registered for the SHRM-CP with the intention of writing the exam in July. However, life threw a curveball, and I postponed the exam to January 2025. I am proud to share that I passed, but not without challenges.
Balancing 12-hour shifts, seven days per week, while staying committed to studying required discipline, sacrifice, and resilience. The facilitators and coordinators kept us accountable through structured study plans and creative strategies that ensured we remained engaged and consistent. Their dedication played a significant role in my success.
I am deeply grateful to God for His favor and for a qualification that will contribute meaningfully to my professional growth. I am also thankful for the opportunity to have met Ms. Barbara Welch, Mr. Michael Gray, Ms. Stacy Homer, Ms. Shinelle Sydney, and my fellow HR participants in the course. Their guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support carried me through this journey.
What began as a course has become a powerful professional network and an extended family.
