We hope that the summer break has been a wonderful experience for you and your child. We look forward to welcoming each student in September and would like to share a few updates that will facilitate his/her return.

General Updates

School Re-opening

School will reopen on September 18.  Note that this was changed from September 11. We apologize for the change. The extra time is needed to finish refurbishing and refreshing our facilities, ensuring an optimized learning environment for our students.

School will close on December 15th. This was changed from December 8th to ensure that the term length is not affected.

Grade 6 classes will resume on September 11th.

Communication Methods

To improve our communication, class-specific WhatsApp groups will no longer be utilized. Messages will now be sent privately to parents via WhatsApp, Email and Text (SMS).  Additionally, all parents will have a Parent Portal on NGS+ to receive real-time updates from their Teacher and Administration. More details will be shared at the Parents Orientation.

Parent  Orientation

Parent's Orientation will be in the School Auditorium.

• K2: September 13th (3:30pm)
• K3: September 13th (3:30pm)
  
• K4:  will be scheduled shortly after school opens
• K5:  will be scheduled shortly after school opens

At least ONE parent should be in attendance for the Orientation Session. Children should remain at home.

Student Open Day

• K2: September 15th (9am - 12 noon)
• K3: September 15th (9am - 12 noon)
• K4 September 14th (9am - 12 noon)
• K5: September 14th (1pm - 3pm)

Note: Bring all the Supplies List items for the Open Day.  The Supplies list for K2 & K3 details will be discussed at the Parents Orientation.

Parent's Orientation will be held in the School Auditorium.

• Grade 1: September 13th (10am)
• Grade 2:  will be scheduled shortly after school opens
• Grade 3: will be scheduled shortly after school opens

• Grade 5: will be scheduled shortly after school opens

Student Open Day

Parents will bring their children to meet their class teachers and to see their new classroom.

• Grade 1: September 15th (9am - 12pm)
• Grade 2: September 15th (9am - 12pm)
• Grade 3: September 15th (1pm - 3pm)
• Grade 4: September 15th (1pm - 3pm)
• Grade 5: September 15th (9am - 3pm)

Parents and students are encouraged to attend (anytime during these hours) to meet and interact with their respective class teachers. All materials, local books, etc should be submitted to the teachers on this day.  

Secondary Updates

Parent Orientation

Parent's Orientation will be held in the Laboratory.

• Grade 7: September 14th (11am)
• Grade 8: September 14th (2pm)
• Grade 10: September 15th (11am)

At least ONE parent should be in attendance for the Orientation Session. Children should also be present.
